The Muddy Popper was born as a versatile top water plug that can handle everything from wide-area fishing to pin-spot fishing. The wide lip, which is unprecedented for a popper, firmly grips the water, moves little when popping, and the synergistic effect with the fixed rear center of gravity allows it to start moving quickly, allowing it to produce a variety of actions even in situations where you want to make it look long at a pin-spot, such as under an overhang, near reeds, or on the steep, deep shore of a reservoir. When simply reeling, it has a flashy wobbling action with a strong roll, and by adjusting the rod work and speed during retrieval, you can freely create water depth and ripples (wake waves). When twitching, the feathers on the rear hook move softly, and knocking actions are repeated with a short movement distance.

In addition, the large snap attached to the line eye, together with the front hook eye deeply embedded in the body, prevents the hook from picking up the line when used as a popper or when simply twitching while reeling, so it is best to use it as is.

The best tackle to use would be a fast taper medium class bait tackle with 10-14lb nylon line.
